Originally born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, I moved to Dallas, Texas with my family at the age of 13. It wasn’t until middle school, that I developed a fervent passion for the arts. From the moment I set foot into my first theatre class, I truly began to discover who I was. Here was an artform that was based solely on impulse. There was no judgement, no rhyme or reason, and no right or wrong answer. I loved that. Theatre’s impact on my life is a big part of the reason why I love to do it. I want to foster an environment where people have the room to freely express themselves. An environment that is free of judgement based on race, gender, sexual identity, background/upbringing, etc. An environment where people have the freedom to fail. I also want take the first step in creating the change I want to see in the world, the only way I know how.
